Biography Boris Petrovsky
Boris Petrovsky is a media and visual artist. In his works, he focuses on the interrelations between mind and matter as well as signs and language in a mediatized world.
A confrontation with and inquiry into the construction of reality characterize his installation projects. His work in new media arts spans a variety of disciplines, performative installation, interactive sculpture, sound and kinetic art.
Boris Petrovsky studied at the University of Fine Arts (HfBK) in Hamburg.
Since 2007 he has lived and worked in Constance, Germany.
His work has been exhibited internationally. He received a honorary mention in interactive art at Prix Ars Electronica 2010.
